Support is growing for a region-wide response with every community in San Mateo County and beyond doing its part in preparing for the growing risk of coastal flooding. Here are some of the people in San Mateo County who are looking ahead and prepared to move forward with solutions.

County Parks is responsible for stewarding park properties for the enjoyment of future generations, and consideration of sea level rise and climate change has become integral to our planning.  An example is our effort to address sea level rise through park improvements at the Coyote Point Regional Recreation Area, and we are excited to be a part of Look Ahead – San Mateo’s efforts to raise public awareness.
